Mink Chocolates House Roast Coffee

Mink House Roast coffee is quite interesting. The beans are roasted my Moja Coffee

The flavor obtained in brewing can be very different with just small variations in amount of coffee grounds used. 

I brewed the coffee in a 32 oz Bodum French Press for 5 minutes, only varying the amount of coffee used. 

At 4 scoops the coffe is initially sweet, kind of jammy.  Dark berry (with a little bit of tartness) jam mixed with darker (60-70%) chocolate nutella taste.  Second  flavor is smoky, like a cigar, but feels relatively clean. Looooooooong finish. I’m not a fan of smokey, so the long smoke finish is not my cup of tea.

At 3.5 scoops the smokeiness is not there at all. The taste is nice and sweet throughout without the cigar aftertaste. Very different then 4 scoops. (At 5 scoops its like drinking campfire) 

Not unique but overall very good coffee. Great for everyday use.
